SMS & Electronic Communications Terms

These Terms apply when TurnBuzz sends appointment confirmations, reminders, check-in links or related service communications.

Effective: August 19, 2026

1. Transactional appointment communications

When a guest books an appointment and provides the required consent, TurnBuzz may send service-related communications such as a booking confirmation, reminder text, check-in message and email when an email address is provided.

2. Consent

Queue owners must configure and use communications only where the recipient has provided any consent required by law. Guests should only provide a mobile number or email address they are authorized to use. If appointment notifications are required for a particular booking flow, the guest may need to consent to those service-related communications in order to complete that appointment booking.

3. No unsolicited marketing through transactional tools

TurnBuzz appointment-notification features are intended for transactional service messages, not unsolicited advertising. Marketing or promotional messages require any separate consent, identification and unsubscribe mechanisms required by applicable law and must not be disguised as appointment notifications.

4. Message and data costs

Carrier message, data or roaming charges may apply depending on the recipient’s plan and location. TurnBuzz does not control carrier pricing.

5. Delivery is not guaranteed

SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications and email may be delayed, filtered, blocked or undelivered because of carrier rules, number verification, network conditions, device settings, spam controls or third-party outages. A message accepted by a provider is not necessarily confirmed as delivered to the recipient.

6. Withdrawing consent

A guest may withdraw consent for future optional communications by contacting the business operating the queue or TurnBuzz support. Carrier-level opt-out mechanisms may also apply depending on the messaging provider and number type. Withdrawal does not affect messages already sent or records that must be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons.

7. No emergency use

TurnBuzz messaging features are not emergency-notification systems and must not be relied on for urgent health, safety, emergency or time-critical communications.

8. Support

Questions about appointment communications may be sent to support@turnbuzz.com.
