Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy
This Policy explains how long TurnBuzz keeps information, what self-service account deletion removes, and what limited records may remain afterward.
Effective: August 19, 20261. Self-service account deletion
Signed-in account holders can open the Account page and choose Delete account. TurnBuzz requires the account email and the confirmation word DELETE before the deletion request is accepted.
2. What account deletion removes
Account deletion is designed to remove the TurnBuzz user profile and operational data owned by that account from the active service, including owned queues, queue tickets and history, appointments, appointment notification state, customer directory records, kiosk configuration, brand assets, queue settings, service-point claims, account sessions and linked Google sign-in records.
3. What may remain
Some limited information may remain where reasonably necessary for billing, accounting, fraud prevention, security investigations, legal claims, regulatory obligations, support records or enforcement of agreements. Information may also remain temporarily in backups until those backups are overwritten or expire under normal retention schedules. De-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies an individual may be retained.
4. Subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting a TurnBuzz account does not cancel an active paid subscription and does not itself stop recurring subscription charges. To cancel a subscription, email support@turnbuzz.com. If you intend to stop both service access and billing, make the subscription-cancellation request in addition to deleting the account.
5. Temporary and anonymous queues
Some temporary queues may have automatic expiration periods. When a temporary queue expires, TurnBuzz may remove that queue and its associated operational records from the active service according to the configured retention rules.
6. Guest information
If you joined a queue or booked an appointment operated by another business, the account deletion controls of that business do not necessarily give you direct access to its account. For requests about your guest information, contact the business that operated the queue or contact TurnBuzz privacy support for assistance.
7. Legal holds and disputes
Deletion may be delayed or limited for specific records if TurnBuzz is legally required to preserve them, if they are needed to investigate fraud or security incidents, or if they are relevant to an active dispute or legal claim.
8. Privacy requests
Questions about retention, deletion, access or correction may be sent to privacy@turnbuzz.com. Account and subscription support is available at support@turnbuzz.com.
