Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of TurnBuzz, including queue management, appointments, kiosks, displays, account features and paid plans.
Effective: August 19, 20261. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, operating a queue, purchasing a paid plan, or otherwise using TurnBuzz, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference. If you use TurnBuzz for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Accounts and account security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials, Google account access, Admin PINs and devices, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. Public Join PINs must not be used as administrative credentials. TurnBuzz may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, guests or the service.
3. Business and queue-owner responsibilities
Queue owners decide what guest information to request and are responsible for having a lawful reason to collect and use that information. You must configure your queues, appointment forms, staff access and communications in a way that complies with laws that apply to your organization and location.
4. Guest and appointment information
TurnBuzz may process names, phone numbers, email addresses, party size, appointment details, addresses, notes and queue activity on behalf of a queue owner. Do not request sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary, lawful and appropriately protected.
5. SMS and electronic communications
If notifications are enabled, TurnBuzz may send transactional booking confirmations, reminders, queue-turn alerts and check-in messages using information supplied by the guest. Depending on enabled features, delivery may use SMS, WhatsApp, email or mobile push notifications. TurnBuzz does not place automated voice calls. Queue owners must only use these features for recipients who have provided any consent required by law. Additional details appear in the SMS & Electronic Communications Terms.
6. Plans, fees and renewals
Paid plans may renew automatically for the billing period shown at purchase until cancelled. Prices, taxes, included features, limits and renewal frequency are shown during purchase or on the applicable plan page. We may change plan features or prices prospectively with notice where required.
7. Subscription cancellation and account deletion
Deleting your TurnBuzz account does not cancel an active paid subscription and does not itself stop recurring subscription charges. To cancel a paid subscription, email support@turnbuzz.com. Account deletion removes the TurnBuzz account and associated operational data from the active service as described in the Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy, subject to limited legal, security, billing and backup retention.
8. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, paid fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun. We may review duplicate charges, billing errors, service failures or other exceptional circumstances. See the Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use TurnBuzz for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, phishing, spam, malware distribution, credential theft, unauthorized surveillance, abusive automated traffic, circumvention of security controls, or collection of information you are not entitled to collect. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.
10. Third-party services
TurnBuzz may depend on third-party infrastructure and services such as cloud hosting, payment processing, messaging and identity providers. Their availability and terms may affect certain TurnBuzz features. TurnBuzz does not receive or store full payment-card numbers when payments are processed by a payment provider.
11. Service availability and changes
We work to keep TurnBuzz available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be changed, repaired, limited or discontinued where reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical or product reasons.
12. Intellectual property
TurnBuzz and its software, branding, interfaces and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of TurnBuzz technology or branding. You retain rights in content you lawfully submit.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, abuse, security threats, unlawful activity, non-payment, or where continued service would create material risk. You may stop using TurnBuzz at any time and may delete your account from the Account page, subject to the separate subscription-cancellation requirement described above.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurnBuzz is provided on an “as available” basis. Queue estimates, wait times, notification delivery and appointment communications may be delayed or inaccurate because of network, carrier, browser, device, third-party or operational conditions. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TurnBuzz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues or data, arising from use of the service. Any limitation applies only to the extent legally permitted and does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply to consumers or users in another jurisdiction.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as TurnBuzz evolves. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
